Operation Orion’s Gate: November 9th, 2024

(Ballahack Force on Force Milsim Series)


Operation Orion's Gate is the next installment of Ballahack Airsoft’s Force on Force Milsim Series. Paying players will make up both teams, Task Force Orions Gate & The Syndicate. 

Ballahack Airsoft will be providing free bbs to all players for this event. Options will be .25, .28, .32, or .40 gram bbs. The allocations for BBs are as follows: 

LMG/MMG: 2000 rds

Rifleman: 500 rds

Snipers/DMRs: 200rds

Each team will receive a SET amount of ammo supplies per phase.

ORGANIZATION: Players will be split into two teams of 150, with each team having three platoons. Each platoon will have TWO admin staff (Platoon Leader, Platoon Sergeant). Each element will have 36 Rifleman slots, 6 Machine Gunner slots, and 8 Sniper/DMR slots. To find out if your replica qualifies for this event, see the weapon/gear restrictions below.

The event is a one-day experience! Registration is $65 if registered before (OCT15) and $80 if placed after (OCT15, 2024), 

Registration includes a Custom Faction Patch, free water all day, and a raffle ticket for the Raffle.

RULES:  All participants must read the rules below for the event. The rules will outline the event set up and all special rules/restrictions.

WAIVERS: ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE SIGNED WAIVER WITHIN THE LAST CALENDAR YEAR.

AGE RESTRICTIONS:  All Participants must be 13 years old or older.

REFUNDS: Ballahack Airsoft event tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled 

CAMPING: Camping is not permitted. No RV's, campers, car camping, or tents are permitted.

Once players register, they are locked to their chosen teams and can't switch. This ensures a fair and balanced gaming experience, and a greater level of competition between teams. Tickets may be removed from stock momentarily to help balancing 

 

Refund Policy & Ticket Transfers

TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

Ticket Transfers will be permitted for the year of 2024. Ticket Transfers will be permitted up until a week before an event after which ticket transfers will not be available. Individuals selling tickets for more than the event cost will have their tickets refunded and barred from the event.

To Transfer A Ticket:

  1. Once a customer purchases a ticket, they will receive a ticket notification email with the link to access their ticket. You will need to go to this email.
  2. Click on view your ticket, and you will be sent to your ticket page.
  3. To transfer the ticket you can enter the name and email address of the person to whom the ticket will be transferred then click on"Update Ticket Details."
  4. Once you click on Update Ticket Detail ticket will show that it is no longer valid showing the email address where the ticket was transferred to and when it was transferred. 
  5. All Information applied to the ticket for the new attendee must be accurate and must have all terms agreed upon before arrival to the event. Failure to agree to the terms or provide inaccurate information will delay your processing time.

After this point, your ticket is no longer in your possession. We recommend that you only transfer tickets to people that you know. Ballahack Airsoft will not be involved in 3rd Party Sales, so it is important that ensure that you are buying a ticket from a reputable source.

Kit Requirements

TF Orions Gate (Tan) Kit Requirements: Your kit will be inspected at processing. HEADGEAR MUST BE TEAM COLOR DOMINANT. Tan-Based Uniform is required. Gear Color Does not Matter.

The Syndicate (Green) Kit Requirements: Your kit will be inspected at processing. HEADGEAR MUST BE TEAM COLOR DOMINANT. Green-based Uniform is required. Gear Color Does not Matter.

(No black uniforms, NO ACU/ABU uniform, no civilian (jeans/plaid))

Event Weapon Restrictions

Event Weapon Restrictions:  There are three types of tickets available: Rifleman Machine Gunner, and DMR/Sniper. There are Six Machine Gunner slots available per platoon, and 8 Sniper/DMR slots available per platoon.

– No full auto is allowed within 50 ft.
– All magazines with the exception of LMGs/MMGs must be mid-capacity or lower.
– Ammunition will be issued before the start of the event. Ammo compliment will mirror your role YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO USE OR BRING AMMO OF YOUR OWN

  • LMG’s: 1500 rds
  • MMG’s 3000 rds
  • Rifleman: 500 rds
  • Snipers/DMRs: 200rds

– All weapons must be chronoed and pass according to the standard Ballahack Airsoft

 

Chrono Rules are found on Ballahack Airsoft’s website under safety/regulations. ALL MEDs (Minimum engagement distances) will be enforced according to your replica joule limit and weapon class (i.e. DMR, MMG, Sniper, etc.).

Kit List: Below is a list of minimum required items you MUST bring followed by strongly suggested items for this event.

 

Required and Suggested Items

Required items:

  • Full seal eye protection that is ANSI rated to Z87.1-1989 standards and has retention behind the head.  Eye protection must have factory-built rubber or foam that fully cups the face and eyes.  (Standard eye pro with an added seal insertion kit is prohibited (i.e. M-frames with helo kits).
  • Combat Uniform in team color/ pattern that includes top and bottoms with a belt. (No black uniforms, NO ACU/ABU uniform, no civilian (jeans/plaid))
  • Boots or Trail Running Shoes.  We strongly suggest that your footwear can drain easily as it is very likely they will get wet.
  • Some form of hydration carrier.  Suggested Camelbak or Ice plate but at minimum a canteen.  (Water will be provided for you at the FOB but you will be responsible for your hydration while on a mission or at another AO.)
  • Plate Carrier AND/OR Chest Rig. All team members must have a plate carrier OR a Chest Rig/Tactical Vest with the ability to carry a minimum of three magazines.
  • Mid/Low Capacity Magazines.  You are restricted to mid-cap magazines for all weapons excluding LMG and MMG’s.
  • Two Batteries or Extra Gas.  Though the Field will have batteries, gas, and HPA fills for sale YOU must ensure that you are ready for gameplay and that you will be useful to your team. 
  • Primary Replica.   All replicas must adhere to the Ballahack Airsoft joule limits and MEDs within those limits found on Ballahackairoft.com under safety/regulations.

PROHIBITED ITEMS: The following are items you cannot bring to this event.

No real firearms or blank-firing weapons

No illicit Drugs or Alcohol

No smoke grenades or pyrotechnics, aside from EG WP40/EG25

No blades longer than 4 inches

No improvised airsoft weapons

Age Requirement

ALL PLAYERS MUST BE 13 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. (NO EXCEPTIONS.)

OP Specific Rules

All standard rules for Ballahack Airsoft apply except for these specific rules.  (You must fully read and understand all standard rules to attend this event.)

HIT CALLING: Anywhere on your body or gear counts as a hit, FRIENDLY FIRE COUNTS. Gun hits and ricochets do not count.  When you are hit you are to scream and fall down ACT IT OUT.  At this point, you are considered wounded.  You may not talk until you are actively receiving medical aid.  Your body is lifeless and you are dead weight.  To be moved to a medic you must be dragged or carried

MEDICAL RULES:

At Operation Orions Gate, all participants will be issued a Ballahack Airsoft fake tourniquet (TQ). Upon being shot for the first time and being 'downed', a participant can receive 'Buddy Aid' from any other participant. The fake TQ must be fully applied to an arm and fastened for the action to be complete. Once the fake TQ is fully applied, the downed player is alive.

If a participant already wearing a fake TQ is shot again, they will require a Medic Water Bottle (Medic Water). A medic (5 medics per platoon) can administer Medic Water to the downed player. Once the downed player has consumed the Medic Water, they will return the empty bottle to the medic they received it from, remove the TQ, and become alive again.

RESPAWNS:

If there are no nearby friendly medics to administer Buddy Aid or Medic Water, there will be a faction specific spawns . BEFORE a participant can decide to travel to their spawn, they must bleed out for THREE MINUTES. Once the three-minute bleedout is over, participants are permitted to travel to their spawn. If a participant decides to start walking to their spawn, they MUST travel all the way there to reenter gameplay. Participants CAN NOT start traveling to spawn and then receive Buddy Aid or Medic Water on the way.

Once an individual has reached their Respawn, they must wait for ONE additional minute before they can re-enter gameplay. Spawning at your Respawn point does not consume medic water, and you can remove any TQs after the additional ONE minute bleedout. The RESPAWN will be marked with PINK FLAGGING TAPE. The RESPAWN is on the field, but technically out of play. EYEPRO MUST REMAIN ON IN THIS AREA

MOVING DOWN PLAYERS:

 WHEN a player is shot, they MAY NOT move under their power. Friendly players must do an assisted move, such as dragging or having the shot player lean on the live player.

BLINDMAN: 

If there is any type of emergency all players in the AO are to stop fighting, stay where they are, and repeat “blindman”.  Once the situation is resolved Command staff will give the call “Game on” before you can move or continue fighting

GENERAL CONDUCT: 

 Be a good human being.  Any verbal or physical aggression is strictly prohibited and will result in ejection from the event without a refund.  Any arguing with or disobeying commands from Ballahack Command Staff will result in ejection from the event without refund.  Come with a positive attitude and be the bigger person in any situation.  If you do not know you can do this then do not register for this event.

WAIVER:  All Registering Participants MUST Sign the Ballahack Airsoft Field Digital Waiver 

Drone Strikes, Mortar Strikes & Smoke Barrage

Certain factions will have access to Drone Strikes, Mortar Strikes, and Smoke Barrages.

Drone Strikes can be used to eliminate all players within a radius of approximately 50 feet, or to target everyone in a building, including friendlies, as well as those within a 5-foot radius of the building. Drone Strikes have unlimited range, and are signified by Air Horn.

Mortar Strikes can be used to eliminate all players within a radius of approximately 50 feet, or to target everyone in a building, including friendlies, as well as those within a 5-foot radius of the building. Mortar Strikes have a limited range based on the location of the physical Mortar Prop, and are signified by Air Horn.

Smoke Barrages can be requested by command staff to help with offensive movements.

Observers & External Media

Observers and other external media is not permitted at our events. Participants without a valid ticket will not be permitted onto the field.
