Red River 2

Description

Red River
(Open World Roleplay utilizing MILSIM ruleset)
June 1st-2nd, 2024

The lush, untamed Pantano Verde region has become a battleground for power, profit, and survival. With the rise of the Zona Tribal Authority (ZTA) as the dominant governing force, the region stands at a crossroads between autonomy and external pressure. The once-chaotic security landscape has shifted as the Federal Police Force takes control, pushing out the remnants of the DPEG and sidelining the British Embassy.

But peace remains elusive.

The Patagonia Liberation Front (PLF), now a legitimate political force, has left their extremist ideals behind, and is now working to stop foreign interests proliferating in the region. Meanwhile, the Citizens Legion, a multinational Private Military Company, moves to secure Pantano Verde’s abundant resources and vital trade routes, fueling tensions with local factions.

Adding to the turmoil are The Expats, a clandestine network of Prikaza and Sokol dissidents determined to undermine Zona’s authority and sow discord in the fragile new order. Alliances are tenuous, betrayals common, and every decision carries the weight of a region’s future.

As old powers wane and new forces rise, Pantano Verde becomes a dangerous chessboard where every move could mean liberation—or total collapse. Who will claim control of the region, and at what cost?

Red River is an event that merges our Open World Roleplay events (Rev, Fertile Crescent, The Wild, etc.) with the ruleset of our MILSIM events (Limited ammo, non standard medic rules, serious tone, etc.)

Each Team has specific Uniforms and Kit Restrictions that MUST be adhered to. Failure to follow the strict guidelines will result in removal from the event without a refund.

Medics & Respawning

Medics:

At Red River, all participants will be issued a bandage. Upon being shot for the first time and being 'downed', a participant can receive 'Buddy Aid' from any other participant, regardless of faction. The bandage must be fully applied to an arm and fastened for the action to be complete. Once the bandage is fully applied, the downed player is alive.

If a participant already wearing a bandage is shot again, they will require a Medic Water Bottle (Medic Water). Any player can administer Medic Water to the downed player. Once the downed player has consumed the Medic Water, they will return it to the person they received it from, remove the bandage, and become alive again.

RESPAWNS:

Once the three-minute bleedout is over, participants are permitted to travel to their spawn. If a participant decides to start walking to their spawn, they MUST travel all the way there to reenter gameplay. Participants CAN NOT start traveling to Respawn and then receive Buddy Aid or Medic Water on the way.

Once a player has reached their spawn, they must wait for ONE additional minute before they can reenter gameplay. Firefights at spawn points are strictly prohibited.

Once the three-minute bleedout is over, participants are permitted to travel to their spawn. If a participant decides to start walking to their spawn, they MUST travel all the way there to reenter gameplay. Participants CAN NOT start traveling to spawn and then receive Buddy Aid or Medic Water on the way.

Once a member of the Police Force has reached their Respawn Room in the Station, they must wait for ONE additional minute before they can re-enter gameplay. If there are hostile elements inside the Station, members of the Force may not utilize their spawn, BUT they may receive Buddy Aid OR Medic Water from any other participant in their Respawn Room.

Citizen's Legion

If there are no nearby friendlies to administer Buddy Aid or Medic Water, there will be a designated Legion specific spawn. BEFORE a participant can decide to travel to their Respawn, they must bleed out for THREE MINUTES. During these three minutes, they can be looted. Once the three-minute bleedout is over, participants are permitted to travel to their spawn.
